The higher combustion level of this oil allows it to keep its lubricating qualities at higher pump operating temperatures.
Our commercial customers report doubling vane life in their pumps when using this oil.
Recently we disassembled a pump with leaking front and rear seals. Upon inspection, the pump
showed signs of excessive heat, blueing on the front and rear end plates. This heat was enough
to harden the seals and stop their sealing capacity. We were pleased to notice that
neither the housing or vanes showed the amount of heat damage that the
seals did. We believe this has everything to do with using this oil.
