The Balzer Magnum Series of Vacuum Tanks is the ultimate in performance and design, featuring rugged, durable construction and the features you need and demand for your operation.  Full 1/4" steel tank and domed ends with double thickness at seams for superior strength.  Automatic submerged arc-welded tank seams assure seam quality.  Full-length tank skids, bolted to undercarriage.  Full 1/4" steel interior baffles add strength and reduce load surge when hauling.  Tanks have a 10-year prorated warranty against rust-through or collapse, to the original purchaser when hauling only animal wastes.  Wide variety of tire sizes. Consult specification chart below for sizes available on various models.  Tanks are fully supported and bolted in six locations to the running gear for stability and less tank fatigue.  Stress proof spindles give added strength and lasting service to your spreader and are standard equipment. 6000, 7500, 10,000 and 12,000 gallon tanks feature 5" spindles. Steerable axle option available!  A wide variety of tire options are available including high floatation tires to reduce soil compaction. Caterpillar tracks are also an option on many models.  Tractor actuated hydraulic brakes are standard on models 3350 through 12,000 gallons.  Special width wheel bases are available for no-till, ridge-till and side dressing applications. Heavy-duty adjustable   hitch is designed for years   of use, and Balzer's   balanced load and  reduced tongue weights   make tank pulling easier.	Balzer provides fully indepen-  dent running gear to give unit  superior strength.	Balzer provides the industry's  best 3 port vacuum pump with  hydraulic drive.

Full length tank skids give additional strength and eliminate tank twist. Balzer bolt-on design eliminates welds to crack or fail as in some unibody designs. Years down the road it makes tank replacement a snap.

1. Primary shut-off, stops filling automatically when tank is full. A stainless steel ball and rubber seat are utilized.
2. Reinforced hoses connect tank inlets and vacuum pump.
3. A vacuum/pressure gauge gives you constant readings during tank filling and discharge.
4. The load level indicator is designed with a 5 bolt flange plate for easy servicing. Interior components are stainless steel.
5. The brass pressure relief valve is adjustable, allowing you to use pressure up to 15 p.s.i..
6. A unique, secondary moisture trap protects the vacuum pump from contaminates during filling and unloading. Plastic drain hoses and valves allow you to drain the trap and keep waste away from your pump.
7. An in-tank air agitation system is standard on Balzer Magnum models, which helps reduce solids build-up in the tank. A five-bolt, flange cover plate secures system to tank and allows easy access, if necessary.
8. Balzer's air intake/exhaust pipe for the vacuum pump is non-corrosive aluminum. A turbo pre-cleaner filters incoming air, and exhaust cap keeps contaminates out.

A 6" side load port is standard  on all models. Balzer uses   double flanged, brass valves   and flanged couplers for simplicity.   Hand actuator is simple and stays   in position when open or closed.   A 6" suction hose assembly   is provided and is 16' in length.
A spray deflector assembly is   standard equipment and provides   a 30 foot wide, even spray pattern.
Complete tank emptying is   assured with Balzer's exclusive   "SUMP DESIGN" 6" discharge.   A 6", brass, double four-bolt,  flange valve, 6" four-bolt flanged   quick connect coupler and unique  hydro pneumatic actuator that won't  bind or freeze completes the assembly.
Optional 20 inch top hatch is available   and can be hydraulically operated.   Simplicity of design enables hydraulic  option to be field installed later if desired.
